Some Unsaid Things

Behind every “Nothing”, there is always a part of you waiting to explain everything.

Behind every “I don’t know”, there is always a part of you that already knows – but you are waiting for them to bring it up.

Behind every “I don’t care”, there is always a part of you hurt because you do care.

Behind every “It’s okay”, there is always a part of you that is not okay with it – but you are willing to compromise.

Behind every “Miss U, TC”, there is always a part of you wishing that they were with you at that moment.

Behind every “I’m fine”, there is always a part of you screaming silently that you are breaking apart.

Behind every “I think I won’t be able to”, there is always a part of you whispering to you that you might if you give it another try.

  1. I am very guilty of this. I tend to pre-judge whether or not something I have to say will matter or have any impact. If I feel it won’t, I don’t find it worth saying.

My ex and I still talk daily. We know whats going on in each others lives. The other night we got in a fight because when I have a potential romantical interest she expresses her jealousy; when she does, I don’t. Her thought is that she’d rather know I still care enough to feel a little jealous. My thought is that it doesn’t matter if I feel jealous. It has no bearing on the situation, and her knowing would only put a negative spin on something positive in her life.
